Winter event - sold out?

Post by Blackhound »

Has the event sold out in 8 hours? Should I have stayed up until midnight? Event showing as out of stock.

If that is correct any chance of being put on a reserve list in case of drop outs?

It's the forum software - you have to change it in your settings. Click on your username at top right, choose "User control panel" then "board preferences" where it says "My timezone" you want it to be "Europe/London" and UTC+0:00

Mistake last year was to bother with taking notice of any official GR's  . Never seen so many blimmin' ups and downs between LBM and Mach to join 'em up.

Minor panic, am at parents on care duties and couldn't find my blasted credit card! Mother's card to the rescue, thanks Ma. Of course, had to give her billing address not mine but hopefully Stu won't enter Grandma Perrin by mistake? - she's 86 and pretty frail now. e-bike?

What with her card I'm not convinced I'm actually in!

Certainly not essential John but you might find a use for one.

Much as I enjoyed the winter event last year, I'm struggling to find the motivation to drive straight there and back from Newcastle on my own (last year I combined it with seeing family, but it's not going to work out this year). Anyone else from the north* interested in combining forces to make the to and fro more bearable?

*of England, before you point it out... Scots also tolerated as long as you don't harp on about access
