BB200 anyone done them all?

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Just thinking that next year will be the 10th BB200 (where does the time go?) and wondered whether anyone has ridden every year? I'm thinking not but I could be wrong.

Well you've got the list of names man!

I was going to suggest Ian Barrington but I don't think he did last year's. I'm assuming you mean finishers?

Maybe a t-shirt along the lines of the 10th WRT one.

Sadly my computer ate itself 3 years ago Bob.

I was thinking that if anyone had done them all, it'd be nice to get them something to mark their stupidity

Ian B had done all until last year, he was the only one. I’ve done 5, plus 2 others the week before or after. Not sure about Mike and Zippy?

Surely you've ridden them all, Stu?

I had an unbroken record until last year. Sadly, family bereavement less than a week before the event forced me to change my priorities. Trying to attain an unbroken run at something for a decade is hard enough, but it takes some committment to organise them in the first place!

This will be my 7th BB200. My 100% completion record came to an end last year! I did my first one in 2012 and missed 2015 (although rode the route afterwards).

I didn't do the first 2, or whatever year it was where there was a huge attrition rate. Or last year because I couldn't get a place (and then cracked my ribs a week or 2 before anyway!). I've also turned down the place I got this year because my head's not quite in the right place at the moment...

I have got 4 black badges sitting at home though :-bd

I've been to all of them, only ridden one and didn't complete it.

Started 6, finished 4

Really want to finish this year as I feel like I may have lost the ability to do it, and I don't like that thought...

Think so. Started all 8 but DNF 2011 (not a clue what I was doing) and 2018. Various collection of badges and T shirts.
