Looks like fun, relaxed pace it said, then they spoilt it all by saying '5 timed sections'.

I can't make it, but it's a nice idea. And to be fair, quite a simple thing to put together wherever you are.

Weather looks good, so planning on going along.

Probably wont arrive until Saturday morning, and was planning on riding back as well, to make the most of the weekend :-bd

See you there chew, I'll be on my purple stooge. I'm getting the train to Thirsk then bike to the start. Will be biking from robin hoods bay to Scarborough for my train home at the end too.

It looks like the Forresters Arms is shut, so it could be best to head straight to High Paradise Farm, as its a more direct route from Thirsk?

I loved it! Route was great apart from two busy road sections that were made worse by the bank holiday weekend and great weather. Nice group of people including Chew.
Pubs were good!
Route is definitely recommended and the group ride too.
