Been switcherooing here between 'so hot your face melts' and 'biblical downpour and end of days thunderstorms'.

Fun stuff unless you want to plan bike rides :-bd

Murky and drizzly all day then chucked it down around 6pm for about half an hour.

Soaked to the skin between 1930 Saturday and 1600 Sunday in Norfolk on the bike. Loved every minute though. As per BaM. Now dry to the skin at home.

My garmin said 29 degrees on my ride today, the trails are almost too dry now with a layer of dust on the top.

Oh, bit of one-upweathership - massive thunderstorms in Norfolk too. Possibly an interesting time to be riding a steel bike. Actually that's wrong isn't it - alu and carbon are much worse so I'm glad I'm so old-fashioned.

Mid 30's all last week, no rain for 3 weeks. Forecast is for temps to drop to late 20's next week but still no rain on the horizon. Quite windy though which makes it feel fresher.

Rubbish on this side of the hills as well today Dave. Got soaked on my ride out into the Peak this morning.
At least it has cooled down. My Garmin said 11 degrees on the tops.

Dry this morning then chucked it down for the middle part of the day before drying up later this afternoon in time for me to get out for a spin on the road for a bit. Overall it's been very warm and very wet recently and the trails are as muddy as winter time. Situation normal for the west of Scotland then.......

Flood sirens. All a bit 2015 floods again. Really hope not. Though we do live on top of a hill. But town does not need this again.

Couple of short but heavy showers whilst out riding today. Temperatures around 22c but terribly muggy.

Sidmouth Folk Festival starts end of this week.
The rain gods hate Morris dancers so we might get some decent rain at last.

Factoid: I was in Sheringham in Norfolk this weekend, which holds the world record for Morris dancing - 369 dancers at once. Took place at the possibly well-named Potty Festival in 2018. Just your type of holiday destination I reckon Mariner!

Bone dry down here at the moment. 81 miles of the Dorset Gravel dash and I'm sunburnt and plastered in dust!
