New 'motivational' stickers.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

You know how it is. Sometimes the very best course of action is to simply say "f*ck it" and crack on regardless. The new Bear Bones stickers feature our very own exponent of that and other appropriate terms and I believe they should help you through those troubled times ... should be here next week

'cash in' Some sort of sponsorship deal presumably  . Pink and yellow - lovely an' garish  . Will clash with my hair streaks though  .

I need to invest in a larger seatpack (contrary to t'other thread) cos I've run out of room to perch all me badges n stickers n whatnot. Problem now is my setup is looking like some kid's bike. Next I think I'm going to install 1/ loads of those coloured clattery ball things on my spokes and 2/ some bits of card held onto my forks with clothespegs, jutting into the spokes to make a particularly satisfying noise (*)

(*) yes well it does to lads of a Certain Age.

SAE on the way (again).

Yeah that's right Reg, cashing in. Design stickers > buy stickers > give 'em away ... I'll be a millionaire by Christmas

Nice.

Stu - Could I have a few extra to hand out on the 5 Peak 500 next month? Happy to feed the bear accordingly.

'cash in' was voodoo's tongue-in-cheek comment but I like it cos as we all know Stu, as you and BDS point out, the real situation is the exact opposite  .

The only modification I would suggest would be to alter the type face and layout a la never mind the bollocks album cover, I'm sure you'll not get any copyright issues and it fits with Daves punk roots.

The colours are a nod in that direction Duncan. We did the Pistols thing with the BB200 T shirt a couple of years ago. Trouble is, we may think it's truly iconic but some of our younger viewers have no idea what it is or what it relates too ... I know I shouldn't remind you but it was 42 years ago
