10/05 69.7 (153.7)
17/05 69.9 (154.1)
07/06 71.3 (157.2)

Holidays are not good for the waistline - relatively large amounts of beer with almost no exercise. Time to start actually calorie counting again after a couple of months of trying to go by feel.

7.6.19: 77.2kg

Down 600g. Not bad going at all for a week that included ice cream and sausage/mash.

Afternoon all,

Just driving home from Tuscany after a week of riding bikes all day long.....followed by.....me and Dave (FLV) trying to empty Italy of pasta and wine :-bd

No idea what the scales of doom/happiness will show when I eventually make it back but I'll have to post it tomorrow.

I'll update the spreadsheet then also.

Well done / commiserations everyone and keep at it!!!

Why 600g as opposed to 0.6kg. Or were you just brushing up on your drugs calculations... and if thats true then why not do it in mg (600000mg you've lost I believe... and if I'm wrong Dont tell the NMC)...

Like a sloth baby!

Previous good work being undone by severe lack of activity and some careless eating. Now it's holiday time and that's not a good sign.

Morning all!

Right, who's up and who's down this week?

I've once again proven that it's possible to gain weight despite riding a bike all day every day during the Tuscany Trail :-bd

Was up 1.5kg upon my return but that's not surprising given the vast volume of food and drink that I managed to shovel in.

But I quickly lost it again (and another kg) since my return to normality (and normal food quantities).

So.....

01-01-2019 - 115.7kg
01-02-2019 - 113.3kg
01-03-2019 - 114.5kg
05-04-2019 - 114.8kg
03-05-2019 - 116.5kg
14-06-2019 - 115.4kg

Am now one week into a new 'regime' whereby I'm allowed precisely zero alcohol* until I'm down to 100kg

*with exceptions made for two pre-arranged 'do's

The weight will be off in no time :???:

So I'm still going to be tracking my weight (which is surprisingly tricky as scales don't work so well on one leg!), but with the opposite aim to you guys... I need to make sure that I don't ever lose any in the next 6 months.

Not gonna lie, I was hoping for more loss after two weeks off the booze, going low-ish carbs and riding a lot.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's massive fat loss accompanied by massive muscle gain

But whatever the reason it's not more the weight is still coming off and so all's well!

Come on, let's see the numbers.....

I've started a couch to 5k program - I'd rather be cycling than running but I get my running over and done with in half an hour and by that point I'm just warming up on the bike so it just fits better with the currently hectic lifestyle. On a good note I've almost finished the father's day chocolate my well meaning wife got me

15.6.19 - 97.2kg
21.6.19 - 97.4kg

On Sunday night last weekend I was 97kg flat and wasn't I pleased with myself? But then I did my knee and have basically been sat on my arse all week. It's feeling much better this morning (thanks for asking) and I'll be back on my bike and doing some careful walking this weekend. Target remains 95kg by the end of July and I can see no reason why I won't hit it.

Accidentally stepped on the scales this morning. Been camping with my girlfriend and our kids. Had heaps of running about, ate masses though all proper healthy things. May have had a few beers.

96.4kg. That’s the lightest I’ve been since I just don’t know when,

Goes to show. Be active eat well laugh lots. Easy recipe for a good life right there, eh?

Just popped up a short blog post about my most recent effort to sort my sh1t out and finally get the right side of 100kg.....

Click here to take a look - http://blog.gairy.co.uk/?p=4887

I know I've been a member of this Fatfighters club since it's inception but it feels like I'm only just actually beginning to get somewhere (as opposed to temporarily and almost accidentally losing a bit of weight via luck and circumstance).

It's not easy being an idiot!
