Ladies and gents, I give you the On-One packraft.
With prices starting at just shy of 700 quid, it's by no means a cheap and cheeful option and you could buy a raft from other known brands for less but the design doesn't look bad from the pictures ... anyway, here it is (this one is more than £700 as it has a deck).

Lighter than I expected, but I still don't think I'd want to cart that around.

I'd love a packraft but can't justify having one. If I lived in Scotland I might (would) think differently.

It's PX, so next week it will be £500.00, in a month £200.00, then they'll give one away with every sale of a one wheeled fat bike...

ELO20 already gets 20% off that which makes it more tempting

Same as stu ,I used to love paddling ,but there are serious issues with access rights ect in England and Wales ,plus having the time to justify one I don't have ( a 2 daybike trip would easily turn to 4-5 with a raft which would then turn to divorce )

Sounds familiar, not to mention admitting to spending £700 on an adult pool toy!middleagedmadness wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2019 12:55 pm a 2 daybike trip would easily turn to 4-5 with a raft which would then turn to divorce

Packrafting looks like great fun but would I ever buy then carry one on my bike in the UK (even Scotland), no.

I've done a couple of short trips like this. Paddling rivers is always complicated by the fact you end up some way downstream of your start point. The combination of bike and raft helps overcome this problem.
Re: Ladies and gents, I give you the On-One packraft.
If i had the terrain locally it would be a very useful tool as it is it would just be a barely used indulgence .
Do wish i lived somewhere where it would be useful.

Good to see more getting in on the market.... but
They don't have many tie downs up front for fix your bike to, plus they are only around 10% cheaper than the well known and tied and tested brands.
I'll stick with my Caribou any day, as this is designed to carry weights up front

I’d sooner s h I t in my hands and clap than give Brant Richards any of my hard earned.
It’s a no from me..

I thought Brant had severed all ties with PX/On One? Is he back again now?

Yeah - he's back.
TBH, it's not brant I have an issue with it's Dave, the head honcho. FWIW I've never dealt with a more unpleasant, untrustworthy and dishonest company. I'd call them scum but that's unfair to any sub standard you find floating on the top of fetid pools.

No need to hold back, say what you really think! I've only had limited dealings with them and those have been largely satisfactory but I have seen quite a few people echoing your view ScotRoutes. There's usually no smoke without fire.............ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 5:56 pm

agree in general though I do buy when its dirt cheap and everything has been fine bar one order.
When it goes wrong they are terrible and i got three sets of lies[ over the space of a week] and then eventually someone sorted it in a few minutes .
Customer service is at erratic.
