New bike day

Post by darbeze »

I have just taken receipt of a very pleasing custom built steel bike made by a good friend who runs a very fine bicycle emporium in Paignton. Unfortunately, since the demise of free image hosting on Photobucket, I don't currently have any online image facilites. I have posted some pictures on his web site if you fancy a peek. I shall be bringing it to get it very dirty on the WRT this weekend if you want a closer look.

Cheers,

Si

As it's an Ask E bike, can I ask where the battery and motor are?

I had to look up what an emmet was Dave... It was on my way to work before they had woken up!

Lovely looking bike Si. I can't help thinking that it's exactly the kind of thing manufacturers should be producing*.

*I realise that's not likely to happen in any great numbers due to all kinds of things - fashion, media, shortsightedness, etc, etc.

Road cyclists look confused when they look at it... Drop bars, but big tyres? Does not compute!
