Resolutions and other lies.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

It's that time of year again, so what (if anything) are you vowing to take up, give up or refrain from to make you and the world better?

I generally don't tend to have many as I'm crap at sticking to them but in 2019, I WILL get my book finished and I will strive to do or say at least one pleasant thing to / for someone every day ... obviously, it'll be lost amongst all the unpleasant ones but it's a start.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Fill the book I'm writing with more content than I am currently filling my belly with.

To not drink many more GnTs and get round the New Years Day hilly 200km / 3000m I mapped out as my incentive to stay fairly sober. High stakes

Always had a good riding year following a big 1st Jan ride. Seems to set the tone for Jan-Mar then it all slots into place.

This time last year I gave up Strava, I've had 12 months of happy cycling without any external pressures.....

I urge others to do the same, it's liberating

That's very much a personal thing. It depends how you use Strava and how much you let it use you.

Try not to swear at other drivers bad driving
BeMoreHolly by doing my very best and taking my opportunities in life

So far i’m committed to

- Finishing learning to dive (Open Water)
- Shooting with Brother in Law

And more to fit in between e.g. WRT etc
