Manchester from Hartshead Pike by durhambiker, on Flickr
Finally dragged myself out for my first attempt at a bivvy last week. Just a 5 mile ride from home up to Hartshead Pike, to spend the night not getting much sleep looking down over Greater Manchester. Also provided opportunity for a shot of the bike leaning against stuff

I had to look up ‘Guando’. Apparently it’s the act of spilling mayonaise on yourself and the eating it, as in ‘pulling a guando’.
Who knew?
