Re: Bikes leaning against random stuff thread.
The wife's and mine leaning against a WW2 Y Station. This was HMS Ventnor but strangely it's an octagonal brick building on the downs which is pretty random.

First ride out on a brand new build. Seconds after the photo was taken the wind blew the bike over the top of the rock it was leaning on and and applied the first bit of patina to the frame.

Spanning Italy and France on this years Torino-Nice Rally:
Re: Bikes leaning against random stuff thread.
Scud, is that an (MTB) XT chainset with MTB front mech and road shifters??
Re: Bikes leaning against random stuff thread.
Asposium, it is yes, i usually use Ultergra chainset on there, but was geared especially low for Torino-Nice, so 38/22 front and 11-36 rear, 11 speed road stuff with 10 speed XT cranks, and it worked really well for crawling up some of those Cols.

Finally a "normal" bike:

An not actually leaning, unless you consider it to be leaning on the bog that's holding it up:

Definitely got one of my commuter leaning on a rhino somewhere, need to dig it out.
