what's the difference between a shirtsleeved jersey and a gilet.
6" of sleeve

Different material Reg and the gilet having no sleeves does produce a proper hillbilly bumfuk look if worn on its own :-bd

Think waist coat reg ,one could don their gillet for dining as well as used for protection from the elements when out on one's pedal machine

I would take one, I missed the last round and the one I have is starting to reek a bit. I do like the current design but happy to go with a redesign if that's the general consensus, perhaps Orange as Mike says as it'd go with my new Ramin! :-bd

If we do want 'boo then it would only be in the form of riding T shirts. Could be an idea though, nice and casual?

I do like bamboo. The benefits were obvious on the TNR when I wore the same bamboo T shirt for 8 days and still smelt reasonably pleasant when I got home.

I appreciate I may get flamed for this, but how about a riding shirt?

Airier than a t shirt, more versatile (venting. long and short sleeves, collar for the sun or wind) and smarter, which is obviously top of our list

If it's a different design then I'm almost certainly in for one, my jersey will continue to be worn once it's fixed

Ooh yeah, and I could give everyone a free enamel mug with each one ordered

Trouble is Ben, that'd be a truly bespoke job which would require a large order and probably still mean a very high unit price. The potential for herding cats would be far too high.

'By virtue of the advertising'

I remember now the reason I missed out last time - there were too many choices (2) so I dithered and wibbled until I missed the boat.

Would find it hard to take the (hugely) backward step from bam to poly these days. My complete base and most mid layer wardrobe has consisted of the wonder fabric for quite a while now. Seems a considerable increase in interest in This Place too these days. So I wonder if boo is a possibility? -

Cat-herding point fully taken and understood though, apologies Stuart.

PS. Just noticed I said 'wot is difference between shirtsleeved jersey and gilet' when I meant 'shOrtsleeved' so that made even less sense than my usual questions...and hence presumably your 6" reply Stu .

Reg, your first link is for Rapanui who are based on the Isle of Wight, I rode by their factory last week, small world isn't it

I'm up for another jersey/tee shirt/jumper/kaftan/cloak/hoody/vest/gillet/wasitcoat/mac... you get the idea, I'm easy really

Back to the OP's original request, Mike, perhaps if you weren't wearing yours 4 days out of every 8 it wouldn't be quite so worn out

I think I can see you MaM - am stood on Laura's Tower at Shrewsbury castle at the moment. I should be looking at the view then dashing for the Much Wenlock bus not burbling on about bamboo!

Good spot Sean - although Rapanui sounds a bit close to R@pha to me come to think of it! Mebbe you could get us a 'locals' price?

I'll probably take whatever's going if it's different :-bd

Only because I have what the current version already apart from in a long sleeve, and LS jerseys aren't usually long enough in the arms (compared with my chest size).

My daughter loves it when I wear my teddy bear top

Heading for Wenlock, Reg? I'm due that way in a little while.

And now...back to the task at hand. I'll take another stinky jersey.

I’ve been using a t-shirt from star world for bikepacking recently that I was given by a sportive organiser.

Style “300”

This t-shirt with a print would be fantastic

Yeah but it's synthetic, so will stink after a couple of days. My research into T shirts was to enable the use of magical bamboo.

For an image, how about the BB bear strangling the panda? (Don't look that up in the urban dictionary.)

Fluffy and menacing at the same time.
