Wanted - gravel or 29er fork

Post by Retiredtester »

Bit of a long shot, but I'm looking to replace the fork on my boardman cross bike with one that has a fork crown drilling to accept a dynamo light. needs to be the following

1 1/8 to 1 1/2 tapered steerer (or possibly 1 1/8 straight and I'll use a convertor crown race)
Need plenty of steerer - 220mm plus
Mudguard eyes and fork crown drilling (obviously!)
Clearance for 40c tyres
Post mount brake bosses (or IS at a push)
9mm qr dropouts
Ally or carbon is fine, but ideally not too heavy

Like I say, bit of an unlikely wish list, but you never know!

As luck would have it, I found a set of eBay Chinese forks v similar to the kinesis ones only with an alloy steerer and less than half the price at 40 quid. Unlikely anyone else is in the lookout, but they have a few more sets as well as thru axle and full carbon ones - https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3336631185

Hopefully I'll still have my front teeth this time next month.

700c with 40mm Nanos. I don't have any 650b wheels to try on it, but can ping you some photos when the forksarrive if you like?
