I considered that but instead have bought a ‘pop-up’ mobile food outlet. I want all the profit direct to meDave Barter wrote:I’ve bought shares in all the eateries en route

Re: Spot anyone?
I would have lent you my Spot as well but some postman beat you to it. I will send it Royal Mail so it might “get lost”

Mike, you are welcome to my spot, but I have not renewed the subscription so you would need to do that. Might be cheaper to hire one?
Or I might do the subs as I'll be doing a few rides - not sure yet.

Re: Spot anyone?
Cheers Steve. Just had a look on the website quickly and is it 180quid to register? Blimey in that case I need to either find one someone has registered and I give some money towards it or like u say steve hire one from somewhere? Does anyone know the shizzle on these things ta? It says something about 18quid per month on there to but couldn't make that out? Can these things be registered for one off things
Re: Spot anyone?
If someone lends you one they can put your details, name, allergies etc. on the spot system for the sos bit. The other details for normal contacts, the mobile numbers, email address and details to send can be set up as a profile for when you use it. All but the sos message are relayed to whoever you've set up, the sos goes straight to the spot hq to alert the local emergency services.

Re: Spot anyone?
Hi Mike, as far as I know, it is not possible to activate a spot for one off events. It is a shame as mine spends most of the year languishing in a drawer. I’ve only renewed it this year as it is needed for the ht550. When I last rode in 2015, I seem to remember Alan had organised some deal with a rental company for the duration of the event. Not sure if that is still the case this year?
Re: Spot anyone?
Aren’t you borrowing mine?
Re: Spot anyone?
