Fancied a change from the regular compact drop bars I have. Flared drops seem very popular at the moment so I thought I would try a pair of Alpkit Mud Bombers, but as usual, if you hesitate with Alpkit, they sell out of what you want, so ended up going to Planet X, who I haven't used before. Excellent service though.

Nice lights, I ran one for 3 years, if you’re looking at rear lights the son is much better than the supernova, very bright with its own stand light.

I thought the Supernova was 'odd' as the front light converts the rear light feed to DC but all other dynamo rear lights are AC?

Just checked, my sinewave beacon is DC output for the tail light, the supernova runs off the main stand light and only illuminates one of the leds. The son maintains full output for quite some time due to having its own stand cap.
The SON is a seriously good bit of kit, you won’t be disappointed.
