It's generally very dull and windy. Best used as a means to an end really.

There's a track leading to every single turbine but they're just spurs running off the main track.

Think along the lines of a very wide forestry track (due to the long vehicles bringing in the blades) and you are most of the way there.

They usually involve quite a climb...

And, in the pitch black with fog and horrific wind driven rain, are quite a scary place to be

I've ridden a couple of the Scottish ones.

At Whitelea (near East Kilbride), it's a huge network of tracks and biking is positively encouraged. There's even a mini trail centre beside the visitors centre with a cafe and showers. As might be expected with such a potentially windy spot, the views are extensive.

The windfarm tracks above Tomatin on the A9 have been commandeered by the local estate and now link in to their own track network. That makes some quite big loops possible. Again, views are great and they can provide a good accessible training route when other, smaller, tracks are mud-bound.

Ok then getting the feedback not to bother, though it may have given a ride a different flavour.
Not worth the drive down from Mold then

Just to ride across a windfarm - no. Incorporate one or two into a longer, more intersting ride, then quite possibly.

With the comment about scary place to be, it summons up an image "windy miller" on s bike as he passes through the blades :???:
