Yes, sort of.

10 speed with SRAM X0 long cage with no problems.

Never tried one but if I were to, I'd probably go for a Shimano long-cage mech'. My reasoning is that the long-cage, non-Shadow+ I have on my Stooge, works very well with the Sunrace 10sp 11/42.

I've got a 10 speed 11-40 with a Shimano long cage mech. Works fine with plenty on B-screw adjustment..

I've used an 11-40 and 11-42 10 speed and a 11-46 11 speed, all with shimano mechs (medium or long cage only). If b-screw isn't long enough, unthread the b-screw all the way out, then hold the mech away from the b-screw stop notch, then thread in from the opposite side it's meant to go in. Works a treat for me.

Not a Sunrace, but I put together a Ghetto 9 speed 11-40 based on a Shimano cassette.

It works well with a Tiagra long cage rear mech if you are on the drop bar route.

I'm using a 10s 11-42.
I've had it set up with an SLX Shadow+ long cage mech and SLX RF+ shifter. This has been run both with a longer B-tension screw, and with a Wolftooth Goat link. The latter set up is much better.

Do they do a 9 speed? I've only seen 10s 11-40 or 42s (which are great and £40 of f***in ebay)
As stu says the old style rear mechs have the top jockey wheel offset the requisite 6mm back from the cage pivot which makes them able to handle the big sprocket without bodging the b tension screw. No clutch but if you use a thick thin ring it works OK

Yep this one and a 500g one. Seem to be about £35 on ebay.

Not quite answering the question, but my 10 speed sun race cassette works very well on my cx bike with an old 9 speed xt mech and some tiagra 10 speed shifters. It shifts better than the praxis cassette I have on a different set of wheels.

Good find - I'd missed that. Makes converting my Fargo to 1x a lot easier as I'll not have to go to 10 speed or fanny around with cable pull converters

Love the way sunrace bring these products out for the lesser speeds

If you are going to run 1x9 then no need for a long cage mech, any med cage mtb mech will be fine with 29 teeth difference should just be a case of enough b tension.

Not used this cassette but I have made up an 11-42 9 speed from an 11-36 sunrace (removing 3 cogs, adding 2 from a shimano cassette and an expander). I using a short cage 10 speed road mech on it and a wolftooth road link, works spot on.

Bike now replaced but still running this on the new one
