Adventure cycle festival shelters...

Post by PaulB2 »

I'm trying to remember the various tarps / shelters that people were using at the bivvy spot on Friday night with a view to replacing my 12 year old tent. I'm fairly certain that one was a SMD Lunar Solo but I forgot to ask at the time what the others were.

I recall the following :geek:

Chew - Hardcore and nowt but a Hunka :-bd
Mark - Lunar Solo.
Taylor - Lunar Solo.
Andy - TN hooped bivvy.
Burty - Trekkertent cuben tarp.
Me - R1g 3.5 tarp.
Daniel - Big tarp. I'd guess at a R1g7 or DD but I didn't see it close up.

There's was also what I believe was a Macpac tent minus inner?

Yep, mine was a big DD. Will be getting a smaller one in due course for bike packing purposes though.
