Thinking of bringing Dillon up for this.....will a crosser get us out into a hill or water area to bivi round these parts??? Or is it all 3" tyre terrain?

Not sure yet either. Might decide on Friday. Kind of tempted by a bivi on the Friday then a room at the venue on the saturday night for some merriment.Lawmanmx wrote:im undecided at the mo Andy, would have been good to bivi in the events grounds, what about you pal?In Reverse wrote:You going up Tony?

Re: Adventure cycle festival
I've not got any accommodation booked at all. I'll be driving up tomorrow sometime, and then if I could meet anyone heading out for a bivvy at Brathay Hall win the Friday that would be ideal, if not let me know where you're heading and I'll play catch up?
Either way, I'm planning to pretty much play it by ear and just do whatever takes my fancy at the time!

I'm parked in the lay-by opposite the site. Was loads of free space when I parked there this morning (and it's free).Lawmanmx wrote:is there normal car parking at the event for each day? just seen ... £5 parking

There is some free parking dotted round Ambleside, but you have to be early to get a space!

Thank you to Chew for sorting out a route and leading our merry group on Fri/Sat. Thanks to everyone else for the great company and laughs. Thank you to the 'Mug Danglers' who came to listen to me talk and the Boners who came to heckle
All in all an enjoyable weekend and really good to catch up with everyone and meet some new folk too ... it's what it's all about
