Think his pedals would be spinning a lot faster if it was fixed.
I'm still not convinced it's genuine. Why are his pedals still turning ( hidden motor?) and how can he be overtaking people who are pedaling, I'm not convinced.

Looks real to me. Terrifying, but real enough.

The cranks are ghost pedalling. I think its caused by remnant friction in the hub pushing the chain forward. Dirt jumpers run really tight cranks so their pedals dont move while they take their feet off them in the air doing tail whips and superman jumps. He's rolling faster because his body isnt acting like a big wind sock. Its the same reason that recumbents are so much faster.

Wish the vid showed him getting his arse back on the saddle. Rather brave bit of riding.
