Any of you friendly chaps local to the Cairngorms loop, we are hoping to plan in a distillery tour of some description while on our trip riding the CL in May , anyone know of a good 1 which doesn't require booking ?
Cheers

Re: Distillery visits
Try Dalwhinnie & Tomatin.
Glenfiddich is interesting as they do their own bottling. Dufftown has 5/6 distilleries within easy walking distance but they're not all open to the public.
Visit the Cooperage at Craigellachie too if you get the chance.
Edradour in Pitlochry is nearer the traditional start/end point for the CL though. Might be better logistically?
