Winter bivi menu's?

Post by Taylor »

Are people perfecting culinary delights to make other's green with envy yet?
It's not all about the smallest stove and cook kit if it can make your comrades swear with jealousy at your evening meal with all the trimmings.
I'm currently experimenting tonight with baking a pudding, all fuelled by wine of course. :D
I know it's still september but perfection isn't gained overnight.
Christmas dinner two years ago.
Jerk chicken with lime and chilli quinoa and basmati rice last year saw me retain my crown, not that the competition was up to much.
What does your menu consist of for December's extravaganza?

Don't be so modest ... the raw christmas puddings were your crowning glory, surely?
May the bridges you burn light your way

I'm thinking Haggis and Tatties, and a nice malt whisky. Hadn't thought about pudding!

Hmm sadly I'm not really known for my culinary skills, and I'm thinking Supernoodles may not be up to scratch for this one. I better get the recipe books out...

My plan for baking a dessert kind of worked but needs a bit more experimenting.
Do I need another excuse to play with fire?
