Some WTB Horizons turned up while I was away. Not sold on the looks but they were cheaper than Compass and probably better at holding air when run tubeless...

He's finally arrived with my new tyres! Hans Dampf Evo trailstar for the front and a Rock Razor Evo pacestar for the rear. Hopefully a lot less sliding around on those muddy commutes now.

Some wrist warmers - but the stitching has come undone on the seams so they'll be going back

Also, not in the post, but picked up from a shop - a pair of Scarpa SL Active boots. Proper 4 season boots to replace my old and knackered Meindl Burmas, which are 3 season and not crampon compatible

Always losing stuff (yes I know, marbles went years ago), tarp peg now sojourning near Harlech somewhere, so set of Alpkit 15g red alu pegs today. Bizarrely didn't lose any 6g Ti ones which are harder to see. No longer lose keys since attach plenty of junk to them. Only one actual (door)key on this "ring". Needless to say it doesn't go BP-ing.

My Enlightened Revelate quilt turned up today, that was a long 7 weeks!

It's flipping lovely!

Does kipping out on my decking tonight count as a bivi?

Stu, All a bit of a faff really. Exposure referred me to Ison. Ison referred me to Exposure....
Somehow, I'm not really sure how, SP hubs got into the email chain and 'wanted to help'. If they couldn't repair it they would replace it. I just had to post it to them in Taiwan (£14 insured with the post office). Took a week to get there, arrived with them Friday. They posted it DHL Monday and back yesterday all sorted.

I'll PM you the guys email at SP, Vic Chen.

Sleeping bag cleaned by www.mountaineering-designs.co.uk. Nice job, third time I've been to them.

Postie dropped this off a couple of weeks back direct from Salsa HQ and despite it being a fat bike, I doubt it'll be too slow ;)

You can answer me a question Jeff - what's the damping feel like on the rear shock? Noticeably stiff and does it have high and low speed compression damping?

I've only had the chance to ride it a couple if times, once on the Beast at CyB and a little local spin on the Great Orme. Fantastic for descending and the same when climbing wit no grip lost.
It's a Rockshox Monarch RT3 rear shock which has adjustment on it.
Still got to get back to this type of riding though, it's been a while......
