Another BB200 tale

Post by ScotRoutes »

There might be some moments of recognition (or flashbacks of horror) depending on whether or not you were there

A little bit of us all in there Colin. Sometimes when "racing" you miss the bigger picture.

Enjoyed that Colin.

Something to bear in mind when thinking about 'those good tracks' you can see but aren't riding ... they're generally not RoW, so not suitable for sending 80 or so riders along. A problem you don't have to consider and something I'm not envious of at all

I enjoyed reading your review Colin.

Yeah, I know I'd mentioned the whole pink line thing rather jokingly beforehand but I couldn't stop myself gravitating to better tracks, particularly when there was a gate rather than climbing a fence.

Nice write up Colin.

Rather than start yet another BB200 thread, if no-one minds, I'll just tack a link to my blog on the bottom of this thread:

It's strange, I can never really remember more than flashes of the rides. Certainly not enough to write them up.

Good to read though. Definitely jogs the memory.

That's exactly why I started keeping a little log - to jog my memory. My blog has a write-up of a West Highland Way walk that I transcribed from the original written version. It's really interesting to see how my opinions on stuff has changed over the years.

Thanks Ian. Another one that adds to my overall enjoyment of the weekend. It's great reading about how everyone saw it and what was happening throughout the field.

I'm busy catching up on these write-ups, cheers everyone for sharing.

I've just done a "blog" post for the first time in 5 years! My version of events, doing the route 1 week after everyone else here: http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 42#p100942
