PHD custom sleepign bag for sale sold!

Post by drjon »

a bit weird to sell a sleeping bag i guess, but some decisions i made just arent right for me…

phd custom bag. waterproof outer, which is wicked cool for the UK, sleeps a lot warmer than its weight would suggest. good for up to 181cm (me) packs very small.

i have used it 3 times - always with full length undies. i havent washed it. it doesnt smell. my understanding is that washing a sleep bag always removes some of the downs ability so wouldnt intend to wash it unless a buyer insists….

heres the spec:

Bag type: Lightweight
Min temp rating: -2C
Weight: 638g

Down Fill: 350g at 800 quality
Outer Fabric: Drishell (Black with no side panels)
Inner Fabric: MX (Black)
Down Overfill: 0g
Stuff Pattern: Standard
Zip: No
Zip Weight: n/a
Inner Panels: No
Hood Cord: Non-stretch
Security Pocket: No
Mummy Hood: No
Collar: No
Side Block Baffle: No
Foot Zip: No
Length: Standard
Width: Standard

the reason i am selling - i probably fall right on the cusp of standard width or wide so am wanting wide - im 90kg - particularly as this was supposed to be a autumn/spring bag and its very warm….so i reckon i can go lower fill and wider and still be cosy. i always take full length top/bottom undies as it adds versatility - this bag would be an easy sleep 3 season i reckon….adding or taking away clothing - it could probably cope with some winter stuff too, depending.

bag cost £300….no idea what a second hand sleeping bag should sell for - if you are interested make me an offer i guess?
