FS: Jeff Jones Spaceframe & Handbuilt wheelset. Price Drop & Split if needed

Post by yellow wood »

I’m new on site, directed here by Keep Pedalling. I’m selling my early edition Jeff Jones spaceframe truss forks & wheel set for sale. QR on both front and rear. Its obviously got scrapes and scratches but no dents. Ive been using it not displaying it!
Front wheel built on Jones 135 F hub running on velocity dually rim.
Rear wheel deore XT 2.4 hub running on velocity dually rim
The tyres 2x ardent 29 x 2.40 EXO TR.

Ive done bikepacking trips in UK on this, sometimes with just frame bags and as Its got braze ons sometimes with a rack. Ive put a picture on but DM for more. I cant seem to get any more on here? Id like this to go as one lot. Frame, wheelset, tyres.

£1500.

So my Jones is back up. Unfortunatley fleabay attracted some people who were intent on wasting time. Thats probably my fault?! On advice I've dropped the price!

The all in price is £1200 or £1000 for the frame. The wheel set has always run tubeless, however I have put tubes in to show off the tyres on the wheels. I will leave them in.
I can ship this but would prefer collection. ( Shipping costs TBA) Thanks for looking please DM any questions etc

If you get a bite on the frame I have a place for the wheels, could use a geared rear hub wheelset for my SS Jones. I have a hub set but it'd save the faff of getting them built up.

To anyone dithering as it's QR, FWIW I bought one of the last diamond/truss combo frames with QRs of this era partly for the axle fitting as well as the geometry. You're buying specific wheels for this bike anyway and if there's one thing the bike wasn't short of already it's steering stiffness/accuracy.
