WTD: Hope or DT Swiss 29" 142mm Rear Wheel

Post by Boab »

I'm after a cheap QR 29" rear wheel for my Scandal franken-bike build. So if anyone has a tubeless compatible, wider the better, 29" QR rear wheel languishing at the back of their shed that they want rid of, then let me know.

I could also do with an 8 speed crank, if anyone has one of those going spare too...

Should probably have muttered something about crank length... 170mm or shorter.

Hopefully sorted for the cranks. So the last piece of the puzzle is a 29" rear wheel. Shirley someone has one down the back of the sofa that they no longer need...? Please save me from chucking £110 at Halfords...

I’ve a pair of wtb i19 rims on novatec hubs which haven’t had much use. Would rather sell as pair but Pm me if that’s of interest.

Cheers Al, only after a rear, and something slightly wider.

Maybe I'm coming at this rear wheel the wrong way, a 142mm rear hub that can have it's end caps changed might be a better option.
So... Anyone got a spare 29" rear wheel, with either a Hope or DT Swiss 142mm Shimano hub going spare?
