Off Topic - 40ish litre Rucsac Wanted - Sorted.

Post by The Cumbrian »

40ish litre rucsac wanted for 6' 2" broad shouldered lad. Doesn't have to be ultralight, but certainly lightish. Preferably with accessible side pockets to hold water bottles etc, hopefully not a retina-scarring colour and as cheap as possible...

Cheers, Michael.

I've a brand new (still with labels attached) Montane Medusa 32 in a fetching grey colour. Obviously a touch smaller than the requested 40L but surprisingly roomy. £45 posted if you fancy it.

It's not what I'm looking for in this case Stu, but it's reminded me that I was also looking for a pack for my nephew.

Remind me of your payment details and I'll take it off your hands.

Cheers, Michael.

Thanks Shauny, but I'm hoping to not spend that much. There's a fairly good chance that he won't use it again after this trip. To my dismay he's not really into the outdoors.

Sorry to jump in, but can I get a pic or two of this? I’m on the hunt for a new Bergan myself…

Something like an Osprey Talon 44 would be perfect...

I've got a Berghaus Arete 45, had it for 12 years and only used for a week walking Hadrian's Wall. Pretty much as new.

If that's any good it's yours for the cost of posting it.

Certainly, if The Cumbrian doesn't want it you can have it. I have far to many rucksacks

Thanks for the very generous offer Sean, but I'm looking for a pack with stretch side pockets.

Cheers, Michael.

If, by any chance, that Berghaus is still available, I would be interested.
Doing a bushcraft weekend next weekend and while I have all the kit required on the list, I don't really have a backpack suitable to put it in. Could easily strap it to my bike though!

Sorry, already packaged up with slackman99's address on it ready to post later. Also, it's blue, are you allowed to take a blue rucksack on a bush-craft weekend, don't they have to be OD or MTP
