Medium to longshot - Carradice Bagman Sport WTD

Post by jameso »

Anyone got one of these they want to move on? It may be cut n shut for a project so condition not important as long as the seat rail fixing and tubes there are all ok.
Thanks.

Thanks Rich.

Current trip/pack obsession is a French port to port N-S ridden audax style on my 700c bike with as little kit as I can get away with. Done similar ride before but was carrying regular BP kit on a heavier bike. Got almost all I need packed into a small bar box that I've got mounted rackless but admitted defeat with packing sleeping + biv bag and not obscuring the rear dyno light. 300g of rack to carry 450g of sleeping kit seems OTT but it won't be a problem, worth a try. I think it could be modded to go either really low just over the brake or tucked behind level with the saddle.

Looking at the Alpkit Exo-Rail support also. Going to try for the low mount first.

Hmm, I have a carradice rack, but not that one.

A solid bit of kit if you can make it work - 380gms

If it's any good to you let me know.

Thanks for checking Rich. Not sure if there's a way to mount that one but will have a think.

Have you looked at one of these

I’ve got one on the Fargo, I can fit my Rab sleeping bag plus a down vest in it or alternatively my Luna solo. Useful little thing.
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

The 4l version's smart isn't it? Would get in the way of the rear light on the bike I'm truing to kit out though - only has a fistful of post sticking out.
