Afternoon all,
I’m looking for a project bike to build up for my son. He’s rapidly growing out of his 16” frame.
Ideally I’m looking for something like a Specialized Hotrock but open to offers on anything that size really. Tatty and I’m need of TLC is great as I plan a rebuild and repaint. Disc brakes would be great as I like the Dad-build overkill
Based in Worcestershire but travel a little bit too.
Thanks
Chris

Nothing to offer (yet, although my son is getting bigger), but we've had an Orbea MX20 disc for the last 18 months that has been excellent.

Thanks for the recommendation, will keep an eye open for one!. Still on the hunt for a bit of a TLC project

That is good to hear, I've recently bought one for my daughter.
There were a few in stock at Tredz, which is where I got mine from.
I was looking to get a bike from Black Mountain, but delivery dates didn't suit.

Is a Ridgeback mx-20 any interest? No disk mounts, but a decent bike.

Thanks PaulE I may be tempted to leave my disc aspirations. Tell me more
