WTD: Etrex 20/30 or similar - SORTED.

Post by shutuplegs »

Figured its time to upgrade the Extra 10 to something that will show a map.
I really like the etrex AA batteries, bombproof etc and I could do with seeing an OS map occasionally.

Does anyone have anything in good nick needing a new home? Preferably with mapping SD card.

Thanks.

Now sorted.

Hi shutuplegs, I bought an Dakota 20, off this forum, colour screen, touch screen ,no buttons.AA batteries (good battery life).
I added 25k &50k OSM mapping from Talkytoaster.me.uk
That may also be a consideration for you.
Talkytoaster osm 25k mapping is almost as good as OS mapp£ing at considerably less. About £20, which can be on SD card or download for less..
I'm impressed.

I hope you think you know, what I might of exactly meant.
Warning - may contain value odded typos & ither mythspellings..
