There's a pretty diverse range of interests here, so I thought this was worth a shot, long though it may be.
I made this several years ago to shave some poles for a couple of yurts, and since it's been largely unused. The main body and lever arm are a solid 2" slab of beech felled and milled in Northumberland. The legs and other bits are local ash, felled and split by hand, with mostly oak pegs in the joints. The legs knock out, and the lever comes out easily so it can be stored more easily.
Really hard to know what this is worth, but was thinking £200. Happy discuss if interested though.

Sadly I don't have a use for it (or space), but i wish I did. Not helpful to you, but I just liked looking at the workmanship on that!

Thanks very much! Wish I had use for it too. I used it to make a new treadle for it* at the weekend since the old one didn't fit very well and it was very satisfying and made me want to keep it
