WTD: 165/170mm Crankset

Post by samwise »

Hi all,

Does anyone have any 165mm mtb cranks kicking around?

Shimano hollotech II 104BCD would be ideal to fit current BB and chainring.

Cheers
Sam

They generally seem to be high end or low end. I picked up some 165mm Alivio cranks a couple of years ago and although cheap, have proved to be very good.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Cheers for the pointers. It's for my partners small frame just trying to limit pedal overlap!

I'll second that. Been running mine for about four years now.

I'd also consider some 170mm

It might be worth looking at kidsracing.co.uk, they do decent quality HUP square taper cranks which at up to 160mm would suit up a five foot ish rider. I put a set of my lads 14” inbred. Pretty decent for £60.
