FS: Bits from Stan!

Post by redefined_cycles »

If anyone wants em. They're lovely and smooth though look a bit rough around the edges...

Postage at cost and a donation to that there RNLI... please

Image

If you really want to be picky then ever so slightly grouchy. But being V8 (as long as the tiny hex nut comes out) you can just flush/purge em with grease and Stuarts yer uncle.

Only reason for the sale is cos I'm trying to give the Butcher (Ramin 3+) some much needed mollycoddling. These don't look very butch either... ( if I'm allowed to say that)...

Re: For Maxxis Chronicles

Post by redefined_cycles »

Not sure how many Chronicles I'd like to sell. In 29er flavour and possibly in 27.5 also. 3.0 width.

£35 each posted

Not for RNLI this one and money goes straight to my pocket (sorry). First refusal will be given to Allen off course

A few pics. Allen knows what they look like anyway (his old ones and hardly used since he sold on) but if anyone else is interested. The second one looks more or less the same but I'm having 'parting' issues

From what I can gather there'll be no thorns in there but I could recheck...

Re: FS: velocity 50mm rim on front hope hub

Post by redefined_cycles »

The Chronicle goung on the fleabay. If anyone would like the Velocity fat wheel in 29er flavour on a Hope hub with quick release then do say so. Priced to sell at £70 and once its gone on ebay (soon as I get chance) I'll probably have to remove from here...

Pics coming up. Postage should be about £12 ...

Re: FS: SLX shifter & XT rear mech (10 spd)

Post by redefined_cycles »

I suppose there should be a next up so might as well make it the 10 speed slx shifter and xt rear mech. Looks long cage and I gave it a good scrubbing. You might need to scrub a little more. One of the jockey wheels is smooth and the other would benefit from a regrease IMO. Also one of the wheels is about 50 percent worn but the other looks much less sharp.

£30 for the lot as the rear mech still hasn't had a fleabag bid (I've started it at £22 I think there)... pistage should be £4.10

Re: FS: Basil portland front carrier

Post by redefined_cycles »

Surplus to my needs. It's a cut down Basil Portland front carrier. About £60 usually so £15 straight to feed the bear would be good please. £5 postage (so costing you £20 all in, unless you are close and want me to leave in a safe place).

Looks like this, this and this. Note where it's connected to the bottom bolts/hex of the fork. Seems as though you might need some spare washer or whatNot to make it work...

Washers are in the plastic bag tied to the rack. I only placed it on for the photo but it's been fully tested in the field (and woods).

It's a bona fide Hoprocker Creation™. I very nearly hung on to it, but it just wouldn't look right on the new bike and it really suited the Ramin.

There we have it, from the man himself. I thought as much that the washers would be in there Alex but forgot to check/update. I have put it up for a reasonable price right?? Or would you suggest higher. I'm gonna get a Surly as I reckon Butcher deserts a 24 pack...

I'll take the front carrier Shaf. I reckon it might fit on the front of my Big Dummy. Please can you PM me your paypal details?

@ Specialist Hoprocker - out of interest, did you cut it down yourself and then powder coat it?

No worries and thanks Ben... Didn't you send me summat for gratis once or twice (I lost count) if so then it's yours, no charge. I shall feed the bear later at some point... Paypal details coming through for postage duties

Cut it with a Dremel, smoothed the cuts off. Keyed the racked and sprayed it mat black.

Doesn't seem to chip off, bit you may need some touch-up on standby if you're worried.
