Planet X XLS Gravelwanker carbon bike (57cm large)

Post by Specialist Hoprocker »

I'm, selling my large Planet X XLS (57cm large) to make space for a new bike.

It is a great gravel bike and will even take a few bags if you want to go bikepacking. But on the flip side you can put some road tyres on and keep up on a road ride (I rode the London Ride 100 on it). It's light and responsive but predictable for long runs too. All in all, a cracking bike that I've loved owning.

I've recently overhauled the brakes and given it new Hunt wheels and last summer. The handlebar and bar tape are new and never ridden.

- Carbon Toray 800 frame and fork
- FSA MegaEvo bottom bracket (with spare unused boxed bottom bracket and installation tool)
HUNT 4 Season Gravel Disc Wheelset (bought new in July less than 50 miles)
- Schwalbe G-One (running tubeless)
- Planet X carbon seatpost
- Fabric Scoop saddle
- Shimano 105 STI (10spd)
- TRP Spyre disc brakes (with new TRP compressionless cables)
- New brake pads
- 160mm rotors front and rear
- 1 x 10 drive train
- 38t Absolute Black oval front ring
- 11-36 Shimano rear cassette
- Shimano Deore rear mech
- Ritchey 6mm 30deg rise stem (can swap for the original 110mm Planet X stem if required)
- Controltech CLS Gravel Riser Handlebar (brand new)
- Charge bar tape urban camo (brand new)
- Shimano pd m520 pedals
- Front and rear mudguards (Mudhugger front & Crudcatcher rear)

The only thing to be aware of is I blanked off the internal cable routing for the front mech as I had no need for it. It's blanked with black Milliput putty which will need careful removal if you want to run a double or triple front ring.

I would consider splitting if the frame is sold first.

Looking for £800.

Bike is in Farnham, Surrey.

Obviously pick-up etc. will be covid secure and socially distant. I would really prefer not to post but will do so at buyers cost.
