WTD: Rigid forks for Surly Karate Monkey

Post by rowlandpg »

Anyone have rigid forks that will fit a Karate Monkey that they want to shift?

Looking to get a bit more carrying capacity!

Cheers

Ah, I forgot to say that my front wheel is thru-axle. (15x100)

I’ve made some triple mount adapters to fit suspension forks. Cable tie and tape retained but they work really well, survived two Jenrides in the lakes so that’s a good test. I could knock you up a set . PM if interested.
Im only posting this as I’m currently riding a karate monkey with front suspension, I also needed extra cargo space but wanted to keep the bounce.

Ive had a request for some fork adapters I've made. Its a composite material used in the die making industry, they are about 20mm thick and have captive nuts behind the bolts (you can see on the picture) . Retained on the forks with zip ties and window tape, much better than the 3D printed versions. Anybody interested? If so I may produce a few more.
