Wtd - Cheapish Tarp
Hello!
Does anyone have a cheap tarp knocking around that they no longer use/need? Bonus points if it comes with Lines and a pole but not critical. I'm looking for something I can practice with and decide if I can deal with the potential faff over the next few months before properly investing for next summer.
Thanks!

What size?
Re: Wtd - Cheapish Tarp
Generous 1 man, standard 2 man? Is there a standard 2 man tarp size? I'm still pretty new to a lot of this!

Most tend to be standardish sizes and very much either 1 or 2 man. I'd class the R!G7 as a 2 man.Generous 1 man, standard 2 man? Is there a standard 2 man tarp size? I'm still pretty new to a lot of this!
I think DD might do a slightly larger 1 man in their superlight range?

The Rig7 is something I've looked at but it's A) not in stock and B) a bit spendy for something I'm not 100% I'm going to use! Definitely in the right ballpark though.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:58 pmMost tend to be standardish sizes and very much either 1 or 2 man. If you do want something to practice with, there's nothing wrong with using a cheap industrial type tarp. It won't last forever but some are surprisingly light and it'll give you a good idea. I think the last one I bought was less than a fiver.

That looks far too nice for what I’m after.

Not currently in stock but they are worth a punt if you can find one.

I'm just going outside ...

The OEX Bush Pro tarp is worth a look, its in the price range. I got one as a sun shade for my dogs as I didn't want to risk them trashing my more costly units.
Its well built has plenty of tie outs for multi pitching options.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I’ve gone for the unnecessary fancy Rab siltarp courtesy of the gentleman above. I’ll let you know how I get on!
