Short section of Tubeless Tyre Wanted

Post by The Cumbrian »

If anyone has a worn out or otherwise knackered tubeless gravel tyre kicking about in their shed, could you send me a 20cm section of it to fix a slashed but almost new Maxxis Rambler?

If you can help out drop me a PM and I'll sort the postage out.

Cheers, Michael.

Have you tried sewing it up? Often works okay as a fix even for tubeless.

I have two worn and patched Conti Terra Trails (40mm) and, later in the week, two worn, patched and stabbed, Panaracer GravelKing SK's (43mm). All four tyres were going in the bin*, so you're welcome to as many, or as few, of them as you want?

* Was going to see about getting them recycled, rather than landfill...
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

A bit of one of those will do nicely. I'll drop you a PM.

Cheers, Michael.

That was my first thought, but the slash is just off centre, and as a high volume human my tyres take a bit of a beating anyway.
