Agreed... It is rather light but slightly too high for me. for the road bike...

Needing circa 70 to 80mm with a weight south of 105g :o Or else I'll never hit my target of the super commuter getting sub 6.5kg

£30. Claimed 103g in 70mm. I've run a 90mm on an XC bike for years without any issues.

Thanks for this Dyffers. I'll either go for this or if I manage to sell of a few bita, an Extralite (shaving another 45g in 80mm format)... :-bd

I think I have a super light 60mm KCNC scandium one that’s about 85g from my xc days.

Might have some other ones too

KCNC do some nice light stems - have a look on XCRacer.com - (or the CleeCycles website). Sub 100g (and the weight is written on the stem for added weightweeniness)

Plus Mt Zoom do some nice light straight bars (also on XCRacer)

The very lightest kcnc ones are called sc Wing and are made of scandium. As is the one I have.

It’s only 60mm though but does weigh 81g on my scales, you’ll be pushed to find an 80-100mm one sub90g.

Having looked, I haven’t got anything longer that’s anywhere near the 100g mark

Bars are sorted Steven... got some shiny current model Sworks aero bars from a mate in London who was going more aero (went for 42cm and sold me his hardly used 44cm) :o

A lovely (goes to check to remind himself) 235g for some comfy aero bars  'win win chicken din'...

Aha... ok, Extralite (from Starbike) it'll have to be. Would've talen the 60mm but a bit too short... thanks for checking SS

Haha... yeah, thats a bit below the belt. 'Weightweenie heaven'. At some point I'll be getting another carbon 100ish gram saddle but only the Taiwan copy of the official SanMarco uberlight one (without going into 'Spanish weighweenie heaven')...

Back in my sportive days my French mate Emanuel who had more money than sense would buy stuff like that stem. He was maybe 65kg dripping wet, but broke everything, or rather, everything broke. I recall one afternoon halfway round the Nove Colli his stupid light crank sheered off the BB ... I left him to his fate.
I'm just going outside ...
