FWIW Tony, when I made the Onion singlespeed I just bought a cheap SS kit off Amazon. About £13. Probably cheaper than posting a wheel.

Aye just bung a sprok and spacers onto a standard freewheel. Velosolo do nice coloured spacers and sproks if you want some bling but the cheapo ones as Colin notes are fine for a try out. Screw on freewheels are all rubbish anyway unless you splash out on a White industries one.

Oh and go low. 32/20 - 22.

If the venture is a success then I have a Hope Hoop Pro2 SP singlespeed on Stans Crest. Bolt In connector. Call it £100?
