Wanted: Revelate Viscacha Seat Pack

Post by nobby »

Now I know it will fit my Thudbuster it's a Viscacha I want.

Earlier two strap around the seatpost preferred but later one strap would do. Well worn or slightly damaged also acceptable now I can use (sort of) a sewing machine.

Cheers

Indeed you do but I can't quite get my head around the idea that that a luggage item that is about half the size of my saddlebag is worth near twice the price.

The double strap is a proven fit on the long travel Thudbuster; does the single strap fit the long travel or only the short travel?

A canvas Karrimor that, with its nylon rather than leather straps, was very modern when I bought it in the late '70's. :)

The old Thudbuster specific design had only one strap.

You are probably right about that, but the two strap fits the long travel Thudbuster so perhaps the original was for the short travel Thudbuster.

Still looking for a two strap one.

As my Mum always says, "Everything comes to he who waits," and she is right again :)

Unfortunately, I forgot her saw on impatience and bought a used BIkePack (Poland) one the other week. At the moment I am trying to persuade myself that one of each is good, but my heart isn't in it (yet)
And this by a bloke who hasn't been on a bike since April 1st! :(

Well Nobby, I am interested in a seat pack so depending on condition and price I may take your spare one.

If you want to get rid of one, message me with details and I will check on the web to see what features and capacity it has - it may suit what I am looking for : )
