FS: Longshore SL Packraft £300! SOLD

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

That's right, I'm selling my packtaft. It's not because I don't like it, on the contrary, it's great and a lot of fun but I'm now wanting less of an 'all rounder' and something suited towards coastal waters.

Anyway, it's not had very much use so as you'd expect is in perfect condition and comes with carry bag, inflation bag, repair kit and paperwork. The SL is a fairly big raft so can happily carry the bigger paddler and gear / bike. It looks similar to the picture but the one in the pic is the longer DL version.

I'm looking for £300 delivered which will put me some way towards covering the cost of another boat.

Where're you off to then? I suppose it's one way of getting to that level-crossing next to the Dyfi that I inflicted on you  .

No where in particular Reg. A couple of days on the Gower last year made me realise that I quite like paddling on the coast and river access seems to be yet another PITA that I've little desire to deal with

Ooh, the Gower. Beautiful place. I nearly drowned in a paddling 'incident' surf kayaking on Rhossili Bay there many years ago. One of those real life-passing-through-your-mind-in-slow-motion moments but luckily my paddling buddies saw I was in trouble and dragged me out. I had a good night in the Kings Head, Llangennith that night... :-bd
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
