WTD - Wildcat seatpack

Post by slarge »

Hi all
looks like the saddle rails have nearly cut through the straps on my Wildcat seatpack, so I'm looking for a replacement seatpack. Has anyone got one they don't use before I search out a suitable replacement?

thanks

I sent mine back to Beth for that exact repair. Might be worth contacting her to see if she's doing such work at the moment. This is from the email when I enquired about repairing mine: "We always knew that the seat rail straps would be the area most liable to wear which is why we made them replaceable. "

Ta Steve. It'll happen be with you tomorrow as long as it wasn't sucked into the same black postal hole as Dave's jerseys.

This did happen to me a morning into a weekend trip. Tied it together with guy lines as a temp bodge that was sturdy but did wear out the dyneema when I removed it.

Unpicked the zig zag stitch and replaced with some similar webbing in less than 10 minutes. Happily add my hat into the repair ring behind Sean.

Thanks for the offer Ben! Will get my broken seatpack repaired (will try Beth at Wildcat first I think, then Sean if they're not up and running yet).
