Wtd bits

Post by sqibjib »

Morning all

Just looking for some parts to finish a build for a friend as some kind sole has walked off with his bike.
I have a frame knocking about so it's any bits for boulding it up.

Looking for a crankset if poss a Shimano ht 2 one.
Bars not fussy
29er wheelset front qr or 15mm rear qr or 142
10 speed anything
Saddle
Just anything for a mountain bike build.

Thanks or looking
Cheers.
Let's hope we can get him back on the road.

I reckon I can find you some bars and a saddle - I'll go and have a rummage.

I have the straight bars and the saddle that came off my Calibre Dune going spare. Plus I have some On-One OG bars that I used to replace those straight bars. If Stu can't sort you out, then I'm happy to send you them, if you'd want them after seeing photos etc, etc...
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

I'm assuming you want 31.8mm bars? I can only find 25.4mm.

I've a set of 31.8 riser bars I can throw in, probably grips too if you need them.

I've got a 29er wheel set - 142mm rear, 9mm qr front

Maxlight IX rear hub and rim, front has the same rim but an unbranded (Novatech I think) front hub - can do pics if any good

Have spare grips and a saddle if still needed. Totally free to help out. Seatpost also I think.

I've a 31.8 stem and some brake rotors. Some deore cranks and a matching HT2 bottom bracket. And a front mech and shifter. I might have some 29" tyres in the shed too.
