Struggling a bit at the mo in the cashflow dept (can't buy any lovely cycling gear  ) with limited work so just remembered I had summat to move on.

Its this and far as I can see its in mint condition. Works well in use and I've enjoyed it.

In the middle of a pandemic, I'm struggling to see how there might not be much work for a nurse? :???:

I thought that briefly too Stu... I'm on a 22H contract (just taken recently in Jan at York) which pays the wife (well she manages all home stuff and bills etc as I have money management issues  ). Then the rest is via agency working.

The agency has all but dried up suddenly and the explanation given (which kinda makes sense) is that we on ICU which is probably the busier section of the hospitals right now, are being supported by staff from many other areas (like op theatre staff and day surgery and wherever else has been closed/slowed down by the lockdown) so they don't actually need 'the outsiders'

Have applied to a couple other agencies (well one that I resigned from just 5 months ago but now going crawling back  ) as the one I'm with is totally last minute. So work comes to us at the end of the line when it can't be covered by other more 'I need a structured in advance rota'* type nurses. Thing is, them *types are aplenty now whilst they all look for work and hence last minute take the brunt :-bd

Must admit, at the start of the pandemic the agency teams had more work than they could shake a stick at and the projection/prediction is that it's gonna go that way again when the country starts opening up again and standard hospital stuff starts going back to normal. Having said that, when on shift, cos you're working with staff from other areas as well as patients that are so poorly, it means we end up busy as anything...

[Edit: forgot to add the hospitals own temporary worksers register (bank staff) who are on a zero hour contract apparently and not being furloughed (whatever exactly that means in its fullest sense), so they get first dibs at any shifts being put out before going external... ]

Definitely agree with that. But so is Carradice (I kmow you didn't say it wasn't  ) as its the older 9L (anyone got a 25L spare/selling/swapping) I bought of Ton which replaced this little masterpiece...

Best thing bout this restrap is the magnetic buckles

Brothersmith, I'll let you know if the kit I want to cram in there won't fit, it's a try-out for some minimal roadie-packing gear.
