Wanted - Road Frameset or Complete bike, must fit di2.

Post by macskive »

Don't shoot me down but is anyone selling a nicely specced road frame that will work with rim brakes and di2?

I would consider a complete bike too.

Based in Edinburgh so not far away or able to post please.

Thanks.

Mac... any frame will take di2. Dependent on your setup it might need a little pilot hole if running inner cabling. Think it through where and how you'll make this/these and curing it from risk of loose threads (ie in carbon) post drillium...

I made both my carbon (may it live on in peace  ) Canyon and the Columbus tubed steel commuter, to take internal di2... Litespeed even have a pdf somewhere of where they'd suggest you drill but fenerally you'd lose warranty with most manufacturers...

I had read that drilling in to frames to clear the cable stop or putting a small hole in the downtube for the wire is workable but i'm not keen on trying to be honest.
