Salsa Warbird, 55cm

Post by huwoliver »

Know what's hot right now? Gravel. Lanes. Groad. Whatever you want to call it. That dusty old track through the woods is the saviour of your daily, government-sanctioned fresh air allocation.
.
It's not too late to jump on the bandwagon and join the bridleway bandits! I have a gravel bike going spare, so take a look if you're financially solvent and between 5'7 and 5'11ish...

.
- Salsa Warbird V3, 55cm carbon frame and fork.
- Sram Rival/Apex drivetrain. Brand new chain, cassette, bottom bracket.
- Hope 20five wheels, brand new Teravail Cannonball 42mm tyres, set up tubeless and Sram Force floating rotors.
- Brand new seat post, saddle, Salsa cowbell bars and bar tape.

£1000

I can fit Sram Force cranks for an extra fee.

Bike is in Fife, but post anywhere in the UK included.

The bikeLust thread has got me keeping coming to this bike.

Please someone buy it so I don't have to as its not sustainable for me just now and messes with my current n-1 rule... :o

LOL. Rather like you, I could be tempted but it would need a complete drivetrain and brake transplant.

It is a good thing for the atmosphere here at home that this wasnt a 57 and that the Spearfish wasnt a large!

Offer sent (that I'll pay via paypal goods on the weekend). Hopefully Huw might be acceptable to it as it is indeed a bargain and a quarter...

John... 'offer sent' in the sense that I've told him I'll take it at that price and can he hold on till my bank refund clears etc before I pay for it. Bit empty this minute but wont be for long hopefully...

NB. If you did buy it you'd only have saved me £1k :-bd so no hard feelings and it'd be lovely

:-bd John... Do people ever get bored of Salsas... suppose time will tell.

Did almost have to give it up as being overruled by the missus that 1£k on a 'childs' bike isn't clever. I fought my case well and that the last Gary Fisher stayed for over 10 years between em...

It is with grwt sadness (after speaking to the bank today.. my money management is crap sorry and sometimes need someone that understands miney better than me to talk thriigh things   ) that I'm having to withdraw from this thing...

Will still be keeping a keen eye out and once am in a better financial situation I might just well be back. 1k just this minute/month is probs pushing it a bit cos of spending all our miney on other pressings needs.

Sorry Huw

Hey folks, the bike is still for sale, but I'd much rather keep it complete.
