Free for collection by bike

Post by benconnolli »

I back bikes for transport and am having a clearout of all those bits you keep just in case but haven’t seen the light of day in over a year now. I live in Chalford which is in the Cotswolds.

All functional condition so I can’t chuck them.
Will add a few quid premium to post because I don’t want to.

Maxis minion dh Front and rear 2.35” 26” tyres. Rear knobbles are mildly rounded at the edges, front good condition

Laced up 26” disc wheel on cheap Shimano hub. Might work for a kids bike before scrapping it

Campagnolo veloce 10 speed brake lever shifters. DONE

One one merino leg warmers large black
On one merino arm warmers large? Orange

661 rage hard knee pads medium

Berghaus half zip tech tee medium blue
Wolf run tech tee

Potentially interested in your Mountain coop primaloft jacket and Zone3 Aspire 10 swimming wetsuit, any chance you could post/DM me some photos? How packable is the jacket...?
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

It packs into its own pocket, but this is a specially large pocket. Roughly double my down jacket something like 20x20x5 will measure and photograph this evening.

Call it a tenner posted?

Hi Ben,

I used to live just up the road from you ... nice area. The Campagnolo veloce 10 speed brake lever shifters - would you hang on to them if I swapped for a beer or 2 next time I'm over that way? Building up an audax bike that will use Campag.

Cheers, James

Lets say tenner larger items, fiver smaller items. Cost is per delivery as that's what I am trying to avoid. Working on the pictures but will likely be group pics as so many items.

Sure thing.

From 19th March I will be in my alternative accommodation that rhymes with rent but is all mine, hence the clear out.

Hi Ben, sorry, late reply - if it's OK with you maybe a reason to meet up for a ride anyway?

Thanks to Ben for the North face Hooded soft shell. Unfortunately it doesn't fit me either. The fit is a bit strange, the arms are good but the torso is both short and tight, i'd almost guess its a womens cut? Anyway i'm happy to pass it on as the same basis if anyone is interested?

The gloves seem to fit well but it's still been a bit chilly in the morning to try them :-bd
