FS: Tarp / shelter anyone? SOLD

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

New Silnylon tarp / shelter just about big enough for 2 and loads of room for 1. Can be set up in a few different ways but the pics demonstrate the most obvious.

Weighs 300g, you could get it sub 300 with different lines if you're bothered. Tarp only, no pegs or poles. Orange is the new green so don't let that put you off - £40 delivered or £35 collected at weekend.

Pretty much owt Adam. The front pole in the pic is 125cm and the rear 60cm. Obviously going higher will raise the thing and going lower will produce a bit worth width but less head room. As is, there's plenty of room to sit up properly.

You can unclip the front line and re-clip it in a different postion which reduces the severity of the 'beak' and opens the front up some. You can also pitch it without a rear pole at the expense of some room inside ... and even pitch it back to front which gives loads of living room but that's probably better for summer.

It's good and long Al, you'd not get wet under it.

Hi Stu
Interested to know what make of tarp it is you just sold?
Is it a flat tarp with a beak, or does it have a cat ridge line?
It’s the type of setup I was trying to achieve, but found the R1G 3.5 too small and the 7 the wrong shape.

It came from China Rich - I'll try and find you some details.

There appears to be a slight cat' cut to it but it's not too pronounced. You can set it up in a few slightly different ways but it is very much a 'shaped' tarp rather than flat.
