Ender 3 Pro.

I’ve replaced the build surface with glass as the top surface of the original magnetic build surface delaminated when trying to remove a particularly stubborn print. The glass is flatter and provides a smoother finish. If you wanted to go back to the magnetic build surface option you need to buy the surface again (about £10) and just take the glass off.

I’ve added a bootloader to the board and uploaded a proper version of the Marlin firmware into it which had the thermal protection enabled along with various other options that Creality hides in their version of the firmware.

There’s a few 3d printed mods (orange items in the photos) and I’ve also added a geared BMG clone extruder. The original extruder is also there if you wanted to change back and it’s about a 20 min a job to do so with an Allen key and a change to one of the settings on the machine to account for the different gearing ratio.

It’s not had much use and is currently taking up room on my office desk at home.

I'll sort out pictures tonight as my Flickr account is playing up.

Based near Northampton. Looking for £135

What diameter filament does this use? I've a damaged 3d printer at school and if this will run on the leftover spools we have then I would be very interested.

It nominally takes 1.75mm dia filament. I think you can change it to take other filament diameters but that would need parts changing.

So 1.75mm is the short answer :)
